C.J. graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Fitness in 2009. He continued on to receive a Master of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from the California University of Pennsylvania.

C.J.'s passion for health and fitness drives him to learn and practice the most effective ways for NSS clients to achieve their desired goals as safely as possible.
As an Alexandria native, C.J. enjoys being involved with the community and actively participates in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. He has also participated in multiple powerlifting events in Minnesota, South Dakota, and during his time living in Washington State for 4 years.
While in Washington, he developed a love for the mountains and would spend many weekends hiking, mountaineering, and exploring the great outdoors. He is known to perform workouts in those great outdoors by crawling through the grass and swinging kettlebells.
C.J. and his wife, Carly, live in Alexandria with their sons Jack and Henry.
