Why did you join NSS?
"I had recently moved to Alexandria and wanted to find something to join in the community as well as get back into personal training. My husband trained at NSS about 9 years ago, and still has nothing but good things to say about his experience there."
What is keeping you at NSS?
"Too many things to list! But the main ones are the positive atmosphere, the constant encouragement & accountability from the coaches, and the overall positive impact NSS has had on my lifestyle."
What positive things have you noticed about you since starting at NSS?
"I typically work out in the morning, and I have so much more energy throughout the remainder of the day after leaving NSS. Both my mental & physical strength have increased, and being part of NSS helps motivate me to make healthy choices both inside and outside of the gym."
What have you learned at NSS?
"Through the support from the coaches, I have learned that if I set a goal and put my mind to it, it will be accomplished. I have learned to be patient with my progress, and in being patient I have learned how to safely and correctly lift heavier weights."
Can you speak on the community and environment of NSS?
"The community and environment is so welcoming, encouraging, and they truly want to see everyone who walks through the door succeed. The energy at NSS is always positive and uplifting, and all of the coaches have smiles on their faces and greet every person by name. I am proud to be a part of the #NSSfamily and want to help spread the word so that others can benefit from it too!"
