Katelynn Prestidge, AS, NSCA-CPT
Katelynn graduated from Alexandria Technical and Community College in 2015 with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Health and Fitness.
Professional certifications include:
Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA)
First Aid and CPR/AED certified (AHA)
Katelynn started her health and fitness journey training at the high school gym in Roseau, Minnesota, where she lost 80 pounds by training with a best friend every day before work. She went to visit ATCC to learn more about their Health and Fitness Specialist degree, and the rest is history.
She is passionate about showing people that health and fitness isn't just looking good or being a specific size. It's about what you can do physically and how well you can move throughout your different stages of life. She also believes the strength of the mind reflects on the strength of the body, and setting goals that challenge both is a must.
When Katelynn isn't at the gym, she is spending time outdoors with her dog, riding longboard or bike, fishing, hunting, or tending to her garden. On the days it's too cold or rainy to be outside, she spends time reading or with family and friends.
Katelynn lives in Alexandria with her daughter Remi and her dog Khi.
