A couple weeks ago we announced an exciting, new, FREE, walk-to-run training program that was a collaboration of NSS, Alexandria ROUS and The Lakes Area Endurance Races.
All details have been finalized and we will officially start our 8 weeks of training 1 week from today, on Monday, May 5th, and culminating in The Lakes Area Endurance 5K on Friday, June 27th.
This will be a fun, non-intimidating way to reach out to your friends and family that are looking to train for their first 5K, get back into running shape, or just stay accountable and motivated to get out and be active.
The program is tried and true, and anyone can do it.
Beginning Monday, May 5th, we will be meeting at Big Ole Park every Monday and Wednesday evening from 5:30-6PM, and Saturday mornings from 7:00-7:30AM.
