Last month we sent out the recipe for the decadent Quest protein cookies (if you missed it click HERE).This month we wanted to offer up another protein based snack supplement, Quest Apple Crisp. Check out the recipe and try them yourself!

3 large braeburn apples
3 scoops protein powder
2 sticks of butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup oatmeal
3 t vanilla extract
-Core and cut apples (peeling apples optional).
-Sprinkle with cinnamon. Mix apples so cinnamon is mixed evenly in the pan you’re baking in.
-In a mixing bowl, melt sticks of butter completely. Add tsp of vanilla. Sprinkle cinnamon generously. Mix well
-Add protein powder. Mix well (you may need to add a bit of water, this needs to be kind of wet).
-Add brown sugar. Mix well.
-Add oatmeal. Mix well (your finished mix should be kind of sticky).
-Lay finished mix over apples in baking dish. Make sure all of the apples are completely covered. Sprinkle cinnamon over top.
-Bake @ 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until apples are soft and crust is boiling.
