Perfectly Protein-ed Perch (or anything else you can catch)

It's the peak of fishing season in Minnesota and the weather has been spot on to get on the lake and do some angling. We all know the awesome benefits of fish for it's Omega 3 fatty acids, aka fish oil, but how about the overall protein content, bro!! With the recipe below you can double dip on health with not only Omega 3's and natural protein, but also some tasty breading that is loaded up with a little spice and even more PROTEIN! Perfectly Protein-ed Perch

What you will need:

3 scoops Quest protein powder 1 tsp organic cayenne pepper 1 tsp sea salt 1 tsp paprika (Spanish or smoked) 1 tsp magic salmon seasoning ½ tsp black pepper 8-10 perch fillets, washed then pat dry with a paper towel 1 egg, beaten (not stirred) 2 Tbsp light olive oil (or canola oil)

How to prepare:

-Over medium heat, preheat a small fry pan with oil (being sure oil is not too hot – no steam or smoke). -In a smooth bottom bowl, blend dry ingredients until mixed well. -Next, egg wash fillets and place (no more than) 2 – 3 fillets in a Ziploc bag. Add 1 Tbsp of well mixed dry ingredients and shake contents until fillets are evenly coated. -Place coated fillets in pan, cooking on medium heat approximately 1-2 minutes or until golden brown. -Place cooked fillets on paper towel.
