Julie has been a part of the #NSSfamily for an amazing 9 years! Yes, February of 2010 was when the journey of health, fitness, and wellness all started for Julie, albeit there was a little apprehension on her end. Believe it or not we heard, and this is a direct quote: “I don’t like working out, I don’t even want to be here.”
Well, it’s safe to say Julie has changed her tune, as she has been a pillar of consistency at NSS 3 times per week ever since that fateful day in 2010. The impact on NSS that Julie has had since then is too large to explain. However, we want to point out just a few key areas where we have seen her thrive.
First, as a leader amongst her family, where being a vocal and “lead by example” mom and spouse, Julie has forged into her family the interest, enjoyment, and necessity of an active lifestyle.
Secondly, Julie has never backed down from a challenge. Whether it’s workouts that require full commitment and months of training, to earning a rigorous 2-day kettlebell certification herself, Julie steps up to the plate and sees things through to accomplishment.
Third, Julie has implemented, and lived up to, an unmeasurable amount of changes to better her health, fitness, and wellness: exercise, mental wellbeing, nutrition, and self-care, just to name a few.
Finally, Julie’s giving heart has seen her constantly helping the #NSSfamily with charitable causes and livening up the gym each morning with a laugh and smile. Julie, you are truly wonderful, and we couldn’t be happier to honor all of your achievements!
