Here's a chance for our local #NSSfamily to support a worthy cause, while getting out to MOVE.

The Matt Kjelland Memorial Run/Walk is a community event created to honor the life and memory of Matt Kjelland. Matt was an incredible young man. He was a loyal friend, a loving son, and always quick to put others before himself.

A 5k run or walk a 1 mile walk and a kids fun run will be held on Saturday, September 21st, starting at Alexandria City Park, in memory of this incredible young man, Matt Kjelland.

Details:

Who: All are welcome.

What: Fun Run and Competitive Divisions available. Alternate 1-Mile Walking Course also available.

Cost: $20/participant until Sept 17th online, $25 day of the race (ages 14 and under are FREE)

All registrants will receive a complimentary T-shirt as part of the registration fee. You will be asked to select a shirt size during your registration (however shirt & size availability on registrations after 8/15 will be subject to availability).

Where: Alexandria City Park

Other: There will be a social time during and following the race. Food, prizes, auction, bean bags, and great fellowship!
