"Mastering" Proper Form While Lifting

At NSS, we know that proper form is a pillar of safe and effective workouts. Our coaching team uses a detailed rubric to ensure you perform each movement correctly.


Today we wanted to outline how we determine and teach proper form tailored to your unique needs.


We have a comprehensive framework that outlines the critical elements of proper form for various exercises. This helps our trainers focus on specific aspects such as posture, range of motion, where to "feel it," and cues to make all this happen.



By adhering to these guidelines, we can ensure that you're maximizing the benefits of each exercise while minimizing the risk of injury.


We also understand that every individual is different, and we take into account your experience level, strength, injury history, and body type to "right size" each movement selected and even down to each rep of said movement.
